POTS AND CLAY

Pottery is one of handicrafts industries that has lost its importance in recent decades. Tre transmission of knowledge and crafts from generation to generation has been stopped, so now only few have the same knowledge and enthusiasm about pottery. But pottery products are the ones that remind us about the history of people settling on this area and take us through the entire history of cuisine and rituals in the Gorenjska region.

We will start our day with a walk around the city of Kranj, where we will learn about the history of the city and get to know its sights. Wi will fish the city tour by visiting Iron thread exhibition and conjure up the atmosphere of historical periods with the help of museum objects.

This will be followed by lunch at one of the local catering providers. In the afternoon we will attend a pottery workshop and get acquainted with the history and techniques of pottery.
