DAY OF DOCTOR FIGS – PREŠEREN’S FAIR

Kranj becomes Slovenian capital on the 8th of February. It is Prešeren Day that gets people from all over Slovenia to Kranj, where they can enjoy the delicacies and products offered at the fair. At the same time they can visit cultural sights of the city.

We will walk around the city where dr. France Prešeren, Slovenian national poet, spent the last years of his life. We will start the trip in Prešeren Grove and continue through the old town of Kranj, past Prešeren House, Pavšlar House, where the Gallery of Prešeren Award Laureates is located, to Prešeren Theatre. We will refresh ourselves in one of local restaurants and in the afternoon visit the stalls of local providers.
